CAROUSEL CLOUD TWITTER INTEGRATION
As you may be aware, Twitter has been undergoing a lot of changes lately. Many of those changes extend to how software like Carousel Cloud interacts with the Twitter API.
These changes have been happening rather quickly, and unfortunately the information coming from Twitter is frustratingly sparse. Nevertheless, we are paying close attention and doing our best to stay on top of what is ultimately a tumultuous situation for everyone.
As it stands right now, it is not fully possible for us to know exactly how Carousel Cloud will be impacted by Twitter’s plans. We also don’t know exactly when any changes will occur, as Twitter itself has not been consistent in following their own published timelines.
We are diligently working through all of our options, and have identified a few potential paths forward. However, given the uncertainty of the situation, our primary concern is having enough time to appropriately respond to Twitter’s changes while also ensuring a smooth transition for our customers.
We anticipate that at some point our Twitter integration may experience a disruption in service over the coming weeks and months.
Our team is working as hard as it can to prepare for this and minimize any impacts. However, the reality that we find ourselves in is that we might not fully know what we’re facing until we’re facing it.
STAY UP TO DATE
We’re very sorry about the inconvenience that these outside circumstances have caused. We will keep this page updated as we learn more. We will also be posting updates to our Carousel Cloud Status Page if any customer-facing impacts do occur.
