In addition to playing back video files, Carousel let's you play live video sources. You can stream video from your network or take baseband video in via the media players input connection. For example, many BrightSign media players are able to bring in HDCP protected HDMI signals. Please refer to your media player documentation for supported input sources and CODECs.
